Yellow-coded warning for 14 cities including Istanbul! Very heavy rainfall expected

According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms expected across the Marmara region, northern and inner Aegean, the Mediterranean (except Mersin), Central Anatolia (except Sivas and Karaman), Western and Central Black Sea, the eastern Black Sea coast, and the surroundings of Artvin. Rainfall is expected to be locally heavy in the eastern Marmara, the surroundings of Düzce, Bartın, and Zonguldak, the eastern parts of Antalya, the western parts of Hatay, and the northern parts of Kastamonu, and very heavy along the coasts of Düzce, Bartın, and Zonguldak.

Air temperatures are expected to decrease by 2-4 degrees in the western parts of the country, with no significant changes expected elsewhere.

The wind is expected to blow generally from the north, and from the south in the southern and eastern parts of the country, light to occasionally moderate, and locally strong (40-60 km/h) along the coast of the Central Black Sea.

In the Meteorology report, a yellow-coded warning was issued for 14 cities, including Istanbul.
