34 million 800 thousand TL fine for 174 drivers who got behind the wheel despite having their licenses suspended
In operations conducted by police teams in Kayseri, a total of 34 million 800 thousand TL in administrative fines was imposed on 174 individuals who got behind the wheel despite their licenses having been temporarily or permanently revoked.

Between July 2 and July 8, teams from the Kayseri Provincial Police Department's Traffic Inspection Branch conducted operations targeting vehicles that disturb public peace through actions such as modified exhausts, drifting, weaving through traffic, and playing loud music.
During the operations conducted by the teams, 265 thousand TL in fines was imposed on 53 vehicles for 'using a modified vehicle', 496 thousand TL on 31 drivers for 'using a vehicle with a modified exhaust', 6 million 760 thousand TL on 169 drivers for 'driving without a license', and 34 million 800 thousand TL on 174 drivers for 'driving while their license was temporarily or permanently suspended'.
A fine of 90 thousand TL was imposed on 1 driver for 'weaving through traffic', 1 million 315 thousand TL on 263 drivers for 'running a red light', 1 million 500 thousand TL on 60 drivers for 'driving under the influence of alcohol', and 300 thousand TL on 2 drivers for 'refusing to take a breathalyzer test'.
In the operations carried out by the teams over 7 days, 150 thousand 766 TL in fines was imposed on 121 vehicles for lighting equipment violations, 140 thousand TL on 1 driver for 'drifting', 1 million 290 thousand TL on 1 thousand 36 vehicles for 'listening to loud music', and 3 million 540 thousand TL on 708 drivers for mobile phone use.
In a statement made by the Kayseri Provincial Police Department, it was stated, "Our fight continues against vehicles and drivers who endanger traffic by driving disrespectfully in a way that disturbs the peace of our people, drift, and cause environmental disturbance."
