Argument between father and son ends in death
In Gaziantep, a man stabbed his son to death following an argument. The suspect father was taken into custody after the incident.

The incident occurred in the Mevlana neighborhood of the Şehitkamil district. According to allegations, an argument broke out between Seyit Ahmet Aksoy (60) and his son İbrahim Aksoy (42) due to alcohol.
During the argument, which escalated quickly, the father, Seyit Ahmet Aksoy, stabbed his son İbrahim Aksoy in various parts of his body. Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Medical teams arriving at the scene transported the severely injured İbrahim Aksoy to Şehitkamil State Hospital after initial intervention.
The son, Aksoy, lost his life despite all interventions at the hospital. The body was taken to the Gaziantep Forensic Medicine Institute morgue.
Following the incident, the suspect father, Seyit Ahmet Aksoy, was taken into custody by teams from the Public Security Branch Office's Homicide Bureau. A comprehensive investigation into the incident is ongoing.
