Driver who hit two motorcycles turned the scene into a battlefield
In the Adapazarı district of Sakarya, 1 person lost their life and 3 others were injured, 1 of them seriously, in an accident involving 1 light commercial vehicle and 2 motorcycles.

In a traffic accident that occurred at the intersection of Milli Egemenlik Street and Yeni Bosna Street in the Semerciler neighborhood of Adapazarı district, a light commercial vehicle with license plate 34 NNS 862, driven by B.K., collided with motorcycles with license plates 54 ARA 418 and 34 FTA 733.
Due to the impact, three people on the motorcycles were thrown to the ground, and the light commercial vehicle also struck iron railings located on the side of the road.
The iron railings, which were dislodged, struck pedestrians M.A.K. (18) and N.A. (44) who were on the roadside.
In the accident, pedestrians M.A.K. and N.A., who were hit by the railing, and motorcycle riders S.E.G. (19) and Onur Eker (24) were injured.
Upon notification of the accident, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Among the injured who were transported to the hospital after initial intervention in the area, motorcycle rider Onur Eker lost his life at the Sakarya Training and Research Hospital, where he was being treated, despite all efforts by doctors.
It was learned that the other three injured individuals are still undergoing treatment and their general health condition is good.
On the other hand, the driver of the light commercial vehicle, B.K., was taken to the police station to give a statement, and an investigation into the accident has been initiated.
