12-year-old child stabs stepfather
In the Talas district of Kayseri, a 12-year-old child stabbed and wounded their stepfather in the heart.

According to the information obtained, the incident occurred on the 8th floor of a 15-story building on Özkan Street in the Mevlana neighborhood, where an argument broke out between Y.C.K. (12) and his stepfather H.P. (31) for an as-yet unknown reason.
As the argument escalated, Y.C.K. stabbed H.P. in the heart with a knife.

While police teams took security measures in the area, medical teams transported the wounded man to the Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine Hospital by ambulance after providing initial intervention at the scene.
Y.C.K. was taken into custody.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
