In a public opinion survey conducted in the first month of 2026, the vote shares of political parties have become clearer.
In the survey, which involved 2,000 participants via face-to-face interviews between January 12-16, the question 'Which party would you vote for if a general election were held this Sunday?' was asked.
According to the poll results, the Republican People's Party (CHP) solidified its lead with 34.1 percent, while the Justice and Development Party (AKP) placed second with 33.5 percent.
The vote gap between the CHP and the AKP has fallen below 1 percent.
The DEM Party took third place with 8.4 percent of the vote.
The Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) followed closely behind with 8.1 percent.
Another detail that stood out in the results was the nationalist parties, which are frequently discussed as potential alliance partners.
The total vote share of the Victory Party (Zafer Partisi), the IYI Party, and the Key Party (Anahtar Parti) was measured at 8.6 percent. These three parties have drawn attention with the increase in their voter bases.
