The foals raised by TİGEM were offered for sale at an auction held at the TİGEM Karacabey Agricultural Enterprise.
58 of the foals found buyers at prices ranging from 80 thousand to 1 million 370 thousand liras.
The most expensive of the auction was the 2-year-old male foal named "Zergüzüm Tay," which was purchased by Kerem Gülmez via e-sale for 1 million 370 thousand liras.
"Zergüzüm Tay" was followed by the 2-year-old female Arabian foal named "Güneşçeker," purchased by Mustafa Yılmaz for 1 million 320 thousand liras, and the 2-year-old male foal named "Kestel Yiğidi," purchased by Özşahinler Limited Company via e-sale for 1 million 190 thousand liras. It was reported that TİGEM generated a total revenue of 25 million 225 thousand liras from the sale of 58 foals.
TİGEM also used a hybrid method in these sales, selling foals via e-sale by accepting online bids.
While it did not go unnoticed that TİGEM's foal prices appreciated thanks to this method, 9 of the 58 foals were sold through the e-sale method, with TİGEM generating 4 million 975 thousand liras in revenue from the e-sale management.
