Expressing that she wakes up at 04:00 every morning, walks for 40 minutes, and feeds her 22 head of cattle, Grandma Dilber said, “The house I stay in is inside our Gümüştarla village, and my barn is in this part of the village.
There is a 40-minute walking distance between them. I get up from the house every morning and come to the barn.
My request from our state and our Governor is a prefabricated house next to my barn. If I could stay next to the barn, it would be much more comfortable for me.
If our Governor provides this opportunity, I will pray for him a lot," she said.
Village headman Hüseyin Durmaz and one of the villagers, Kemal Sofi, also stated that despite her age, Grandma Dilber is a woman who will be an example to all of Turkey with her diligence and productivity.
