79-year-old Grandma Dilber's incredible life struggle: 'Those who see her say mashallah'

79-year-old Dilber Çataltepe, who continues her life struggle in the village of Gümüştarla, leaves those who see her in awe with her activities in the livestock sector.

Having lived by raising livestock for years, Dilber Çataltepe keeps 22 head of cattle. Dilber Çataltepe, who performs all the care, cleaning, feeding, and milking of the animals by herself, also receives appreciation from the villagers.

Stating that the animals give her life energy, Dilber Çataltepe cannot give up livestock farming despite all the insistence of her 3 daughters and 1 son.

Saying that she would not enjoy life if she did not have her animals, Çataltepe stated that producing gives her happiness. Stating that she gives most of the milk she produces to the Erzincan Cattle Breeders Association and uses some of it in cheese production, Dilber Çataltepe noted that she contributes to agricultural production.

"GRANDMA DILBER'S ONLY REQUEST IS A PREFABRICATED HOUSE"

Dilber Çataltepe, who both provides for her own livelihood and contributes to the economy of Erzincan and the country, requested a prefabricated house from Erzincan Governor Hamza Aydoğdu. Expressing that she wakes up at 04:00 every morning, walks for 40 minutes, and feeds her 22 head of cattle, Grandma Dilber said, “The house I stay in is inside our Gümüştarla village, and my barn is in this part of the village.

There is a 40-minute walking distance between them. I get up from the house every morning and come to the barn.

My request from our state and our Governor is a prefabricated house next to my barn. If I could stay next to the barn, it would be much more comfortable for me.

If our Governor provides this opportunity, I will pray for him a lot," she said.

Village headman Hüseyin Durmaz and one of the villagers, Kemal Sofi, also stated that despite her age, Grandma Dilber is a woman who will be an example to all of Turkey with her diligence and productivity.
