Abdulkadir Selvi's commentary on Öcalan: 'They buried him alive in İmralı'

Hürriyet columnist Abdulkadir Selvi continues to write about the 'process' following MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli's remarks pointing to the Turkish Grand National Assembly and the DEM Party group meeting regarding PKK ringleader Abdullah Öcalan.

'HE HAS ZEROED OUT ÖCALAN'S INFLUENCE'

Most recently, sharing with his readers the statements of Mustafa Karasu, one of the figures in the mountain cadre of the PKK terrorist organization in Qandil, who said, “Devlet Bahçeli called him to Parliament and said 'disband your organization.' What do you mean 'disband your organization!' We have been fighting for 50 years,” Selvi commented, "It is understood from this that the PKK has no intention of laying down arms. 

In fact, the PKK has no concern for Öcalan either. With this statement, Mustafa Karasu has zeroed out Öcalan's influence. It has once again been revealed that they only use Öcalan for the masses."

'THEY BURIED HIM ALIVE IN İMRALI'

Noting that there are no meetings with Öcalan, Selvi further wrote the following:

"In the face of this picture, reports are still being circulated that a meeting will be held with Öcalan. There is no such planning visible for now. Because what happened when a meeting with Öcalan was permitted? Did Öcalan make a call and did Qandil take it into account? It has become clear that Öcalan no longer has any influence over the PKK. We can now call Öcalan the former leader of the PKK.

Those who said 'Öcalan's will is our will' have buried Öcalan alive in İmralı."
