A funeral ceremony was held for FETÖ ringleader Fetullah Gülen at Skyland Baseball Stadium in the U.S. state of New Jersey.

Members of the terrorist organization who are fugitives in various countries around the world came together to bury terrorist leader Gülen. It was decided that entry to the ceremony would be made with a personalized QR code.

According to a report in Türkiye Gazetesi, one person caught on camera at the funeral ceremony of terrorist organization ringleader Fetullah Gülen drew attention.

 It was claimed that the person standing immediately behind Gülen’s coffin was fugitive Adil Öksüz, one of the chief figures responsible for the treacherous July 15 coup attempt and the organization’s so-called Turkish Armed Forces imam.

Fugitive Adil Öksüz, a key figure in FETÖ’s treacherous coup attempt who was released after being detained at Akıncı Base as part of the investigation into the coup attempt, is known as the organization’s so-called Turkish Armed Forces imam.

Adil Öksüz, who was captured near Akıncı Base in Ankara on the morning of July 16 following FETÖ’s treacherous coup attempt on July 15, 2016, was released under judicial control by judge Köksal Çelik at the Sincan West Courthouse, where he was brought on July 18.

Criminal court judge Çetin Sönmez also rejected the objection by prosecutor Mehmet Yılmaz, who was conducting the investigation, to the decision on the grounds of “insufficient evidence.” Öksüz left the courthouse in Sincan, where he had stayed for 21 minutes, and disappeared.

Search efforts continue in Turkey and abroad for the capture of Adil Öksüz, who was dismissed from his position as a faculty member at Sakarya University (SAÜ) under Decree-Law (KHK) No. 672 published on September 1, 2016, is listed in the “red” category on the Interior Ministry’s “Terrorist Wanted List,” has a reward of up to 4 million lira offered for information leading to his capture, and effectively became a “mystery” on July 18, 2016.

Although Öksüz said during his interrogation at the public prosecutor’s office at Sincan West Courthouse, “I came from Sakarya to Ankara on July 14. I stayed in Keçiören. A taxi driver with whom I agreed for 150 lira to look at land brought me and dropped me off in Kazan,” police work determined that the 2 addresses in Keçiören mentioned in Öksüz’s statement had been vacant for a long time and no one had stayed there. It was also established that no taxi from the Keçiören area had come to the place where he was captured that day.
