The total amount of taxes paid by the public in Turkey in 2024 has been revealed. According to the announced figures, the total tax amount paid in the first 11 months of 2024 reached 7 trillion 793 billion 285 million 845 thousand liras. This figure was calculated as 270 thousand 60 liras per second, 16 million 203 thousand 605 liras per minute, and 972 million 216 thousand 298 liras per hour.
Daily tax payments reached 23 billion 333 million 191 thousand 153 liras. When evaluated on a monthly basis, it was recorded that 779 billion 328 million 584 thousand 500 liras in taxes were paid in Turkey.
These massive figures in tax revenues make the tax burden paid by citizens even heavier.
