Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu sends a letter from prison: 'I didn't know about the weapon'

In her letter, Kalaycıoğlu stated that she wanted to correct misunderstandings, particularly regarding the term "errand boy," and shared details about the day of the incident.

Regarding the term "errand boy" used in her prosecutor's statement, Kalaycıoğlu emphasized that she did not use this expression to demean anyone.

In the letter she sent to SHOW Haber, Kalaycıoğlu expressed that the young footballer had a big heart and was always ready to help everyone. She noted that due to the age difference between them, Kundakçı helped Vahap Canbay with some daily tasks and drove his vehicle, and that she was merely describing this situation in her statement:

"I did not use the word 'errand boy' for Kubilay. He was a big-hearted person who wanted to help with all of our tasks. When asked in my statement to describe Kubilay's relationship with Canbay, I described that due to the age difference between them, he helped Canbay with small tasks, errands, and drove his vehicle."

WHAT HAPPENED ON THE DAY OF THE INCIDENT

Touching upon the process that began with Canbay arriving in front of the studio where the incident took place, Kalaycıoğlu stated that she did not take the situation seriously at that moment.

She recounted that while she was leaving the studio to go to her mother, her boyfriend Alaattin Kadayıfçıoğlu told her, "If there is something important, let's notify the police," but she did not foresee the danger, thinking, "They will wait and leave."

"I HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE WEAPON"

Furthermore, in her letter, she argued that she was unaware that Kadayıfçıoğlu had a weapon with him and that she experienced a great shock at the moment of the attack:

"When the vehicle with the Canbays first arrived in front of the studio during the day, when I went out with my friend Bertin, the studio owner, and went to my mother, and told my boyfriend Alaattin that I went to my mother for this reason, he said, 'If there is something important, let's notify the police.' But I did not know that the incident would reach such a serious dimension. I thought they would wait and leave."

Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu ended her words by saying, "The truth will come out. I trust in justice."

Aleyna Kalaycıoğlu's mother, Zuhal, said the following:

"His mother tells Kubilay not to meet with the Canbays, that they are dangerous people, and for a year and a half, his family did not let them go to them.

He applied psychological violence. My child bought his car with what he earned. Aleyna furnished the whole house, everything. I mean, she was like both the man and the woman of the house."
