An arrest made in the Zekiye Aydın case following the Müge Anlı program
The individual detained by the Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Gendarmerie Criminal Investigation Team (JASAT) regarding the murder of Zekiye Aydın, who went missing 19 years ago in Çanakkale, has been arrested by the court to which they were referred.

In recent days, on Müge Anlı's program, Sabri Önal was detained live on air by the Çanakkale Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Gendarmerie Criminal Investigation Team (JASAT) on suspicion of murder, following his statement that he "knows the location of the body" of Zekiye Aydın, who had been missing for 19 years.
A crime scene reconstruction was conducted in Keşan regarding the incident. The detained Sabri Önal showed the gendarmerie teams the area within a 1-kilometer radius where the body was located. Subsequently, Sabri Önal was brought to the Ayvacık District Gendarmerie Command to have his statement taken. After the completion of the procedures, Sabri Önal was referred to the courthouse and arrested.
