Ancelotti's statement on Arda Güler: I started him in the first 11 to help his development

Following the match in the 2nd week of Spain's top football league (La Liga), where Real Madrid played at home and secured a 3-0 victory against Real Valladolid, Ancelotti held a press conference.

When asked about his decision to start Arda Güler in place of Jude Bellingham, who was injured during training on August 23, Ancelotti said, "I was undecided between starting Arda or Brahim. But since we were playing at home, I thought starting Arda would help him more. He played a good match."

The Italian manager stated that Arda plays in different positions during matches and that he does not have the idea that the Turkish player will be the primary alternative to Bellingham.

Ancelotti stated that it is important for young players like Arda, Brahim, and Endrick to get playing time at Real Madrid, where competition is very high. Regarding Arda starting in the first 11 and getting more minutes, he expressed that his goal is to help him continue his development so that he can reach the level of Real Madrid.

On the other hand, when asked about Federico Valverde, who scored the team's first goal and made the match easier for Real Madrid, insisting on taking the free kick from the sidelines, Ancelotti replied, "He is very effective in these types of shots and we need to use him. It is very difficult to score from free kicks, but he was very good."
