The recent wave of price hikes, which began with the increase in the Special Consumption Tax (ÖTV), has continuously driven up the prices of tobacco products.
As tobacco companies announce their new price lists one after another, three major cigarette companies had raised their prices in recent days. Imperial Tobacco has now joined these companies.
Erol Dündar, President of the Monopoly Dealers Solidarity Association, announced the news of the price hike on his X account. Dündar stated, "A price hike has been applied to İmperial Tobacco cigarettes. The rain of price hikes on cigarette varieties continues."
Following the price hike, the cheapest cigarette in the Imperial Tobacco group has become 62 TL, while the most expensive cigarette has risen to 77 TL.
