The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB) announced its second interest rate decision of the year following the Monetary Policy Committee meeting. The policy rate was reduced by 250 basis points to 42.5 percent.
Following the announcement of the policy rate, all eyes turned to the banks' loan and deposit interest rates.
While those planning to take out a loan are eagerly awaiting the drop in interest rates, a statement came from former Ziraat Bank Deputy General Manager Prof. Dr. Şenol Babuşçu.
