Avalanche danger and fog warning: The weather will be challenging this time

According to forecasts by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the western parts of the country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with showers expected in the coastal parts of the Aegean after noon, while other areas are expected to be partly to mostly clear.

Icing and frost are expected in the interior and eastern parts, along with haze and localized fog in the Marmara region and the interior and eastern parts. There is an avalanche danger in the high altitudes of the interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea and on the high and steep slopes of Eastern Anatolia.

AIR TEMPERATURE: Air temperatures are expected to remain above seasonal norms.

WIND: It is expected to blow generally from southerly directions, and from northerly directions in the southeastern parts of the country, light to occasionally moderate.

WARNINGS

FOG WARNING: Since haze and localized dense fog are expected in the Marmara Region and the interior and eastern parts of the country, one should be careful and take precautions against potential negative consequences.

ICING, FROST, AND AVALANCHE DANGER WARNING: Since avalanche danger is expected on the high altitudes of the interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea and on the steep and sloped terrain of eastern Eastern Anatolia, and icing and frost are expected in the interior and eastern parts of the country, one should be careful and take precautions against potential disruptions in transportation.
