Bad news for Erdoğan from the latest poll: AKP's vote share at its lowest level since 2002
Metropoll Research has shared the results of its 'Pulse of Turkey' surveys conducted in April, May, June, and July. The AKP, which has been losing votes since April, has seen its vote share drop to its lowest level since 2002.

Following the CHP's victory in the March 31 local elections, discussions regarding an early election have begun in the public sphere.
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel is calling for elections at the rallies he holds, stating, "If there is no livelihood, there is an election."
In this direction, public opinion research companies are also taking the pulse of citizens in the event of a possible early election.
Most recently, Metropoll Research shared the results of its election poll.
The research was conducted with an average of 1,784 people across 28 provinces in Turkey, based on the NUTS 2 system covering 26 regions, using stratified sampling and weighting methods.
In the survey, citizens were asked the question, "If a parliamentary election were held this Sunday, which party would you vote for?"
Sharing the survey results, Metropoll Research Chairman Özer Sencar stated, "Due to the reaction of low-income earners, AK Party votes have fallen to their lowest level since November 3, 2002."
The research includes data from the months of April, May, June, and July, following the local elections held on March 31.
In the survey, which also includes information on the May 14, 2023 Parliamentary Election results of the AKP and CHP, the percentage differences between the two parties were shared after distributing the undecided voters.
Accordingly, the AKP's vote share, which was 31.1 percent in April, fell to 26.1 percent in July.

The CHP, which won the March 31 elections, saw its vote share reach 35.9 percent in April, while it was observed to have received 33.8 percent in July.
