Bolu Chief Public Prosecutor İbrahim Cansever, along with a delegation from Ankara, visited the Grand Kartal Hotel, which became a grave for 78 people, to conduct inspections.
Cansever, who entered the hotel where gendarmerie teams have tightened security measures, conducted an inspection for some time.
The delegation was accompanied by Bolu Provincial Special Administration Secretary General Sırrı Köstereli, Dörtdivan District Governor Tugay Cantürk, and Seben District Governor Mustafa Şeker.
A total of 11 people have been detained so far in connection with the incident. The detained suspects underwent health checks.
Within the scope of the investigation launched into the disaster, 6 chief public prosecutors, 4 chief inspectors, and a 7-person expert committee were assigned.
According to the initial findings obtained from the investigation, the fire started in the kitchen located at the restaurant point. It was determined that a significant portion of the deaths was caused by carbon monoxide poisoning released due to the fire.
