Car catches fire while driving on the Çorlu road
A car driving on the highway between the Çorlu district of Tekirdağ and Yenice Neighborhood became unusable after a fire broke out in its engine compartment.

The incident occurred around 21:00 on the Çorlu-Yenice road. According to the information obtained, a turbo failure occurred in a car traveling in the direction of Çorlu. Following the malfunction, smoke rising from the engine compartment was quickly replaced by flames.

The driver, noticing the situation, pulled the vehicle to the side of the road and got out, while fire crews were dispatched to the scene upon reports from citizens in the surrounding area.

The fire, which grew in a short time, engulfed the entire vehicle, but the flames were brought under control with the intervention of the fire department.

While there were no injuries in the fire, the car was completely burned and rendered unusable. Due to the fire, there was a short-term traffic congestion on the road.
