Caught with a siren-equipped vehicle: 'The common ground between Cübbeli Ahmet's daughter and Kim Kardashian is the Mercedes G'

Journalist Fatih Altaylı made notable remarks regarding the Mercedes G-Class vehicle belonging to the daughter of Ahmet Mahmut Ünlü, known publicly as "Cübbeli Ahmet".

Altaylı stated that the G-Class is a status symbol worldwide, saying, "Almost all rich and cool women use this vehicle. Even Kim Kardashian prefers this car, you figure it out now."

However, Altaylı emphasized that the real source of the controversy is not that the vehicle is luxurious, but the use of sirens and flashing lights. "No one is saying anything about Cübbeli Ahmet's daughter using this vehicle. The real issue is the disregard for traffic rules with sirens and flashing lights. That is what really angers people," he said.

Reminding that Palazoğlu, the son-in-law of 'Cübbeli Ahmet', claimed that the siren on the vehicle was legal and an opportunity provided to them by the state, Altaylı wrote the following in his article titled 'The common point between Kardashian and Cübbeli: G':

"And of course, he lied. Because the siren is not about the vehicle, but about the person using the vehicle. The person in this family who has a 'protection order' is neither his daughter nor his son-in-law. It is Cübbeli Ahmet, that is, Ahmet Mahmut Ünlü. The state has decided to provide the highest level of protection to Cübbeli Ahmet. This is the level of protection provided to former interior ministers and individuals at high risk due to their high service to the state. These individuals are granted the right to constant close protection, residential protection, and the use of 4 vehicles with sirens."

By law, these vehicles must be registered to the protected person. The exception is if the vehicles are rented from a car rental company. Cübbeli Ahmet also has the right to install sirens on his 4 vehicles, but these sirens can only be used when Ahmet Mahmut Ünlü is in the vehicle. Cübbeli Ahmet had already rented his personal vehicle from a company belonging to his son-in-law. The son-in-law then installed the siren, which Cübbeli is entitled to, on the vehicle he and his wife use. When they were caught using it, they were fined 140 thousand TL.
