Child's finger severed, teacher continued the lesson: Terrifying moments at primary school
A shocking incident occurred at a primary school in the Yıldırım district of Bursa. Second-grade student Poyraz A.'s hand got caught in the classroom door. Despite the young child's finger being severed, it is alleged that the teacher did not take the situation seriously, and the student sat in the classroom covered in blood for an entire lesson.

The incident took place at Setbaşı Dörtçelik Primary School, located in the Setbaşı neighborhood. According to the information obtained, the young student, who was asked by his teacher to stand by the door, lost his finger when the door closed during recess. Although Poyraz's friends, who witnessed his great pain, immediately asked for help, the teacher continued the lesson. Following this, the students notified the parents.
The child's parent, Gamze T., arrived at the school and took her injured son to Bursa City Hospital by her own means.
Poyraz, who was taken for treatment there, had his severed finger found in the school hallway by his friends.
The family rushed the finger to the hospital in a box of ice and delivered it to the doctors. The young child was referred to Uludağ University, where his finger was successfully reattached during an operation.
Describing the incident in tears, mother Gamze T. stated that she was shocked by what she saw when she arrived at the school, saying, "I saw that my child's finger was only wrapped in a napkin. I took him to the hospital with my own means. It is incomprehensible that a medical team and an ambulance were not called to the school."
The family has filed a complaint against the teacher, Ü.Ö.K., whom they accuse of negligence, and the police have launched an investigation into the incident.
Parents also expressed their reaction to this incident, stating that they expect more sensitivity from school administrators and teachers.
