CHP Chairman Özgür Özel calls for a boycott: Issues a warning for workers

Addressing the crowd gathered once again in Saraçhane during the process that began with the detention of Ekrem İmamoğlu as part of the investigations into the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and continued with his arrest, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel called for a boycott by naming specific companies. Özel said, "If they do not see Saraçhane, bury them in the ground."

While Özgür Özel was announcing the boycott list, the fact that the Doğuş Group and its affiliated NTV suspended their broadcasts led to the belief that the company Özel pointed to without naming was the Doğuş Group.

Özel also warned, "Protest these brands, but do not say anything to the workers employed here. Everyone is just trying to earn a living."
