The testing process regarding the blood and hair samples provided by Sadettin Saran to the Forensic Medicine Institute, after he was summoned to testify as part of a drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, has reached its final stage.
Fenerbahçe President Sadettin Saran also gave a statement to the prosecutor's office as part of the investigation in which journalist Mehmet Akif Ersoy is being held in custody.
It was stated that Saran's statement was taken in the investigation regarding allegations of "using narcotic substances," "supplying them," and "facilitating their use."
It was learned that Sadettin Saran, who was in Italy with the Fenerbahçe Beko Basketball Team, returned to Turkey upon the prosecutor's office's summons.
Following the testimony process, which lasted approximately 2 to 2.5 hours for Saran, who went to the Istanbul Courthouse, the process regarding the investigation file continued.

It was noted that members of the Fenerbahçe Board of Directors were present at the courthouse to support Sadettin Saran during the testimony process. Information that a search was also conducted at Saran's home as part of the investigation was reflected in the file.
FORENSIC MEDICINE PROCESS INITIATED
Following his statement at the prosecutor's office, Sadettin Saran was referred to the Forensic Medicine Institute for blood and hair samples to be taken. Saran was later brought before the court and released under judicial control with a travel ban imposed.

Journalist İsmail Saymaz provided information regarding the Forensic Medicine process in a post on his social media account.
Saymaz, in his post based on Forensic Medicine sources, stated that the test results belonging to Sadettin Saran have not yet been completed and that the report will be sent to the prosecutor's office tomorrow.
