Critical stage in Narin Güran murder investigation: 'Suspects identified'
Technical examinations in the investigation into the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran in Diyarbakır have reached the final stage. Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç announced that all details of the incident have been clarified through base station signal analysis and that preparations for the indictment have begun.

The investigation into the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran in Diyarbakır continues at full speed.
So far, 12 people, including 9 family members, have been arrested in the investigation. Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç announced in a statement regarding the matter that a significant stage has been reached in the technical examinations.
Minister Tunç stated that the testimonies of approximately 250 people have been taken as part of the investigation and that there are suspects under judicial control in addition to those arrested.
Explaining that the examination of camera footage was conducted by TÜBİTAK, Tunç said, "HTS records were identified. Retrospective analysis of who was talking to whom in that area, and especially base station signal overlaps regarding the suspects, were very important. Very significant data has been reached through these narrowed base station signal overlap examinations."
Stating that the technical work has reached the final stage, Tunç said that the indictment preparation process has also begun.
Emphasizing that the work is continuing meticulously, Tunç said, "Here, especially in those narrowed base station signal overlaps, who was where at what minute, and who was with whom inside which house has been determined one by one. Let no one have any doubts."
Minister of Justice Tunç also addressed some misinformation circulating in the public, stating, "When the indictment is revealed, the public will be able to guess who the killers of our child Narin are, and of course, it is not us who will make the decision on this. This will be an indictment."
