Deadline for terrorist organization SDF in Aleppo ceasefire has expired: 5 regions to be struck
Following the ceasefire declared between the Syrian army and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the Syrian branch of the terrorist organization PKK/YPG, in the city of Aleppo, Syria, civilian evacuation efforts are ongoing, while the deadline given to the SDF to lay down their arms, set for 18:00 local time, has expired.

Following the ceasefire declared in the clashes between the Syrian army and theSyrian Democratic Forces (SDF),the Syrian branch of the terrorist organization PKK/YPG,the evacuationof civilians in the region continues.While safe corridors are being established for the evacuation of civilians, the official Syrian news agency SANA reported that the Syrian army had extended the deadline for evacuation efforts and for the SDF to lay down their arms until 18:00 local time.
Reports in the Syrian press alleged thatSDF elements refused to leave the Sheikh Maqsood neighborhood in Aleppo andinsisted on continuingtheclashes. TheSyrian army announcedthat it would strike 5 areaswhere the terrorist organization's positions are located in the Sheikh Maqsood neighborhood. While the army shared maps of the areas in question, it reiterated its call for civilians to evacuate areas near these locations and to distance themselves from SDF elements.
In a written statement issued earlier by the Syrian Ministry of Defense, it was stated that the operation against the terrorist organization SDFwouldcontinueuntilfullcontrolisestablished.Themilitarycommand emphasizedthat
the securityofciviliansisa priority.It was announced that a ceasefire had been declared starting at 03:00 in the Sheikh Maqsood, Ashrafieh, and Bani Zaid neighborhoods of Aleppo. Armed groups in the Sheikh Maqsood, Ashrafieh, and Bani Zaid neighborhoods were requested toleave the area,and 20 busesarrived in the Sheikh Maqsood neighborhood to take theSDF terrorists who surrendered in theLayramoun region and transport them to different areas.
