Following the spread of footage on social media showing Dilan Polat and her sister Sıla Doğu kissing, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation into the pair on charges of "indecent behavior."
Dilan Polat, who was detained as part of the investigation, was released after processing.
Sharing a video after her release, Polat stated that the process she went through had deeply affected her.
Polat expressed that she was going through difficult days, stating, "I am not well. I have very serious traumas. I can neither sleep nor wake up. Yesterday, I had a partial paralysis. I fainted 3 times; it was very difficult."
Responding to the criticism following the incident, Polat said that she had accidentally touched her sister Sıla Doğu's lips while trying to kiss her on the cheek.
