Discovery of a new world suitable for human life: 6 times larger than Earth, 20 light-years away!

Data collected over 20 years and analyzed for two years has revealed the discovery of a new planet 20 light-years away that is suitable for human life.

6 TIMES LARGER THAN EARTH!

According to Tortoise Media, the planet named HD 20794d is six times larger than Earth and has a rocky surface capable of collecting water.

The planet is also at a sufficient distance from the star at the center of its system for water to remain in a liquid state.

CONFIRMED BY RESEARCHERS

The research, led by Michael Cretignier, an exoplanet detection researcher at the University of Oxford, confirmed the existence and orbit of the planet.

According to the results, due to its location in the star system, HD 20794d is neither cold enough for water to freeze nor hot enough for it to evaporate.

All the data analyzed by researcher Cretignier was obtained from terrestrial telescopes in Chile, but HD 20794d is now expected to be examined by space telescopes equipped with interferometers to detect atmospheric biomarkers that could indicate the presence of life, such as methane and carbon dioxide molecules.

'IT WOULD TAKE 18 THOUSAND YEARS TO REACH THE PLANET'

BBC Sky stated that the current findings indicate the planet is suitable for human life.

Although the findings are exciting, according to The Times, it would take even Voyager 1, the longest-range spacecraft built by humans, 18 thousand years to reach the planet.
