Earthquake hits Russia, AKP's Mücahit Birinci targets the Republic!

The 8.8 magnitude earthquake that occurred off the coast of the Kamchatka region in eastern Russia was among the 10 largest earthquakes ever recorded worldwide. A tsunami alert was issued in the region following the earthquake.

It was announced that there were no casualties due to tsunami waves in the town of Severo-Kurilsk, where approximately 2,400 people live, and that the public had been evacuated to safe areas.

TSUNAMI ALERTS IN JAPAN AND THE US

Japan's state broadcaster NHK reported that the public was asked to leave coastal areas "until the warnings are lifted" due to tsunami waves that could reach up to 3 meters in the region. Similarly, a tsunami warning was issued for Hawaii and the west coast of the United States.

Following the disaster, Mücahit Birinci, a former member of the AKP Central Decision and Executive Board (MKYK) and advisor to the President, shared a post on his social media account praising Russia's preparedness for earthquakes while targeting Turkey and the revolutions of the Republic.

In his post, which began with the words, "Even a developing country like Russia successfully passes the test of an earthquake. Shall we call it Soviet discipline, or whatever we call it...", Birinci questioned why Turkey could not progress with science and criticized the Republic's revolutions with the following words:

"Why did the achievements and modernization of the Republic remain limited to form, clothing, hats, calendars, and script?

Why could it not penetrate into intellectual depth?

Why could the architecture, art, and scientific approach of the Republic not be formed?

These are important questions that cannot be brushed aside with cliché slogans. We must engage in self-criticism and change the method, whatever we have been doing."
