Economic confidence 'increased' according to TurkStat

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) has released the economic confidence index data for December 2024.

Accordingly, the economic confidence index increased by 1.8 percent compared to the previous month, reaching a value of 98.8.

Compared to the previous month, the consumer confidence index increased by 1.9 percent to 81.3, the real sector (manufacturing industry) confidence index decreased by 0.7 percent to 102.7, the services sector confidence index increased by 2.4 percent to 113.6, the retail trade sector confidence index increased by 1.2 percent to 113, and the construction sector confidence index increased by 1.9 percent to 89.4.
