Elderly man kills field neighbor by running him over
In the Didim district of Aydın, 78-year-old Mustafa Y. allegedly killed his 31-year-old field neighbor, Mustafa Güngör, by running him over with his vehicle following a dispute over a field path.

The incident occurred today in the area known as Bölme, located between the Balat and Batıköy neighborhoods. According to information obtained, a feud had developed over a road between field neighbors Mustafa Y. (78), a resident of Balat neighborhood who worked as a sworn translator and in the real estate sector, and 31-year-old Mustafa Güngör, a father of three. A dispute broke out between the two neighbors.
78-year-old Mustafa Y. struck Güngör with his vehicle after seeing him on the field road, causing his death. Mustafa Güngör's wife, who was present at the scene at the time of the incident, reported the situation to 112 emergency teams.
Gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene, where it was determined that Güngör had lost his life.
Mustafa Y., who committed the act, was taken into custody by the Gendarmerie. The body of Güngör, who lost his life at the scene, was transported to the Didim State Hospital morgue following the prosecutor's investigation.
