According to a report in the Hürriyet newspaper, the yellow-navy team's management will implement their projects in 3 steps following the preliminary preparations carried out throughout the summer.
It was reported that plans are in place to first improve the lighting and sound systems, followed by an increase in the capacity of the stands behind the goals.
PERMISSION AWAITED FOR STANDS
The report stated that projects regarding the stadium's lighting and sound systems will be completed within two months. It was noted that approval is being awaited to increase the seating capacity of the stands.
It was stated that with the replacement of the new lighting systems at the stadium, a transition will be made to a modern lighting system featuring LED and membrane technology.
It was stated that a 20 percent increase in capacity is planned through changes to be made in the stand behind the goal.
During the election period, Ali Koç said the following regarding the changes to be made at the stadium: "We have three new projects. We will extend the panels above the stadium in a way that completely seals off the air so that the atmosphere remains inside. Air circulation is required there when there is no match. We have designed these as retractable panels. We have also worked on our sound system. It is an investment of approximately 1.5 million euros. There are people ready to sponsor these issues. We hope to plan to have it ready by September this season.
