Electric bicycle accident in Edirne: Father and son hospitalized
In Edirne, a 14-year-old boy riding an electric bicycle lost control of the vehicle and fell approximately 5 meters into a residential complex garden. The father, who jumped after his son, was also injured, and both were taken to the hospital.

The incident occurred on Bahriye Üçok Street in the city center. While riding his electric bicycle, 14-year-old D.Ç. lost steering control and struck a vehicle parked on the side of the road.
Thrown by the force of the impact, the child fell approximately 5 meters into the garden of a residential complex.
Seeing his son fall, the father, Y.Ç., jumped into the garden without hesitation in a state of fear and panic.
Upon notification by bystanders who witnessed the accident, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
The injured father and son were taken to Trakya University Faculty of Medicine Hospital by ambulance for treatment following initial intervention.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
