The festival, held for the sixth time this year, was organized under the theme ''HUMAN AND MUSIC - THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HISTORY AND MUSIC'' and was moderated by Okan Bayülgen.
At the panel, festival founder Yavuz Bingöl, Sema Moritz, Elif Buse Doğan, and world-renowned Canadian coloratura soprano Ekaterina Shelehova discussed the historical traces of folk music on individuals and societies, as well as its reflections in the present day, from various perspectives.
Following the panel, the festival's opening concert was performed by the world-renowned Iranian artist Alireza Ghorbani.
At the opening concert of the festival, for which tickets were sold out days in advance, the Iranian musician took the art lovers filling the venue on a dreamlike journey with his songs.
Concluding the night with applause, Ghorbani crowned his magnificent performance with consecutive encores upon the intense demand of the audience.
Meanwhile, businesswoman Leyla Alaton was also among those following the event.
