While each section of the massive 11-story building contains 110 apartments, there are a total of 1,792 apartments.
The building, where an estimated 6 thousand people live, spreads over such a vast area that there are multiple bus stops from one end to the other.
The distant view of the apartment building is why it is referred to as Europe's "Great Wall of China."
It is observed that the entire surface of the apartment building is surrounded by adjacent balconies, and that gaps are left on the lower floors to allow passage from one side of the interconnected, wavy-patterned apartment buildings to the other.
