Fatih Portakal's commentary on the minimum wage: This figure is being discussed in AKP corridors!

Millions have their eyes and ears turned toward January.

Presenter Fatih Portakal has revealed both what the government is considering and what the figure should be following inflation. 

The difference between the figure the government is considering and what it should be is striking.

If the raise is implemented according to the Medium-Term Program (OVP), it will be 19,177 TL. 

However, since there was no interim raise, it seems impossible for this figure to be accepted. 

Another option is a raise at the rate of realized inflation. If this happens, it needs to be 24,142 TL.  

Portakal stated that the figure being discussed in AKP corridors is between 22,000 and 24,000 TL. 

Portakal also stated that the new minimum wage should be at least 30,600 TL with an 80 percent raise, and asked, "Will they give it?"
