FETÖ bans the chanting of "takbir" at funeral ceremony!

Fethullah Gülen, the ringleader of the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ), will be buried today in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania after dying on October 20. 

The funeral prayer will be performed at 20.00 in the evening Türkiye time. While the ceremony is planned to be held in a stadium, FETÖ has imposed a ban on its members reciting the "takbir." 

A tarpaulin was stretched over the area to prepare the grave, and the press was prevented from obtaining aerial footage. 

While the organization is encouraging young people to attend the ceremony, the ban is thought to have been imposed to avoid giving Americans a "Muslim" image.

HE WILL BE BURIED TODAY

The funeral prayer for the terrorist ringleader will be performed today around noon according to the time in Pennsylvania, USA.

The funeral prayer corresponds to around 20.00 in the evening Türkiye time.

MEASURE TO PREVENT AERIAL FOOTAGE

In the U.S. state of Pennsylvania, a spot in the garden of the farm used by the organization as its headquarters can be seen being dug with a shovel.

The footage showed that a crane and a ladder were brought to the area where the pit was dug.

As members of the organization dug the grave, they stretched a black tarpaulin over the area to prevent members of the press from obtaining aerial footage. Yellow tape was also placed around the pit.

ORGANIZATION MEMBERS ARE CLOSELY MONITORING THE WORK

It was also observed that a wooden platform had been built next to the area where the pit was dug.

While excavation work was being carried out under the tarpaulin, more than 10 members of the organization watched the work.

THEY PUT UP A TARPAULIN

In the early hours of the day, members of the organization were seen putting up another blue tarpaulin over the possible area where the body will be buried.

It is estimated that this tarpaulin will be used to prevent footage from being taken while the body is being buried.

ACTIVITY IS INCREASING AT THE FETÖ CAMP

Aerial footage obtained from the farm used by the organization as its headquarters shows many vehicles inside the camp and that vehicles have begun to be parked along the roadsides.

The cameras captured many people working at the head of the pit thought to have been dug for the grave, and that the number of people walking around inside the camp had also increased.

RECITING THE TAKBIR IS BANNED

In internal correspondence among the organization in the U.S., it was stated that the ceremony to be held today would take place at a stadium in the area, and it was said that “young people in particular are encouraged to attend”.

While there is discussion over whether FETÖ, with this move, will harass and attack Turkish members of the press as it has done before, members of the organization were told that “reciting the takbir is banned”.

This ban is thought to have been imposed because FETÖ members do not want to present Americans with a “Muslim” image.
