Final footage of Ayşe, murdered by Cemil Koç, emerges: Together with the murder suspect

Teams from the Public Security Branch's Murder Bureau arrived at the scene in Eyüpsultan's Mithatpaşa neighborhood yesterday following a report that a body had been found inside a suitcase on the side of the road. The body in the suitcase was sent to the Forensic Medicine Institute for examination. It was determined that the body belonged to university student Ayşe Tokyaz (22).

According to the report by Sabah, police teams deepening their investigation determined that Tokyaz had last gone to the home of her former boyfriend, Cemil K. (38), in the Atakent neighborhood of Küçükçekmece. The teams established that Tokyaz was killed in this house, placed in a suitcase, and subsequently dumped on the side of the road in Eyüpsultan.

NUMBER OF SUSPECTS IN THE CASE RISES TO 7

Following the examination of footage recorded by security cameras, 6 suspects, including former police officer Cemil K., were taken into custody. Subsequently, 1 more suspect was apprehended by police teams. Thus, the number of suspects in the case rose to 7.

DISMISSED FROM THE POLICE PROFESSION

It was revealed that suspect Cemil K. had first painted the house red to cover up bloodstains and then had the house cleaned. On the other hand, it was determined that suspect Cemil K. was dismissed from the police force in 2024 for possessing an unlicensed firearm and had a criminal record for "resisting an officer to prevent them from performing their duty," "threats," "insult," "intentional injury," and "purchasing, possessing, or using narcotic or stimulant substances."

BEATEN TO DEATH

It was learned that the funeral of university student Ayşe Tokyaz was held in Hatay after the procedures at the Forensic Medicine Institute were completed. Examinations revealed that Ayşe Tokyaz was beaten to death before being placed in a suitcase and left on the side of the road.

REMAINED ON THE ROADSIDE FOR 2 DAYS

Meanwhile, new details have emerged regarding the incident. It was learned that Ayşe Tokyaz and Cemil K. entered the address in Küçükçekmece on July 9 at around 19:30, and that on the night of July 11 at around 01:30, Cemil K. and a friend took the suitcase containing the body outside. Cemil K. placed the suitcase filled with the body into his luxury vehicle. He and his friend dumped the suitcase on the side of the road and then fled the scene. According to allegations, the body in the suitcase was found on July 13 at around 02:00. It is estimated that the body remained in the suitcase on the side of the road for approximately 2 days.
