First statement from Roblox after access ban in Turkey
The gaming platform Roblox, which is popular among children, has been blocked in Turkey. The Minister of Justice had announced that the decision was taken due to content that could lead to the abuse of children. Roblox, meanwhile, has announced that it is cooperating with authorities to resolve the situation.

Roblox, which was recently blocked in Turkey by a decision of the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK), has made its first statement regarding the matter. Roblox stated, "We are working with the relevant authorities to make Roblox available again as soon as possible."
Following the access bans imposed on Wattpad on July 12, 2024, and on Instagram, which has over 57 million users in Turkey, on August 2, another ban has now been placed on Roblox, a platform popular among children.
Providing an explanation regarding why Roblox was blocked, Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç stated, "Access to the gaming platform named Roblox and its links in application stores has been blocked by the Adana 6th Criminal Court of Peace due to it containing content that would lead to the abuse of children. Attempts to undermine our social structure, the abuse of children, the encouragement of violence, and activities that will negatively affect the development of our children, each of whom is a gem, will never be permitted."
Following these developments, Roblox issued the following statement regarding the matter via its official social media account.
Roblox's statement is as follows:
