The number of people on the Billionaires List published by the American business magazine Forbes has exceeded 3,000 for the first time this year. The total wealth of the billionaires has reached 16.1 trillion dollars. There are 31 names from Turkey on this year's list.

A total of 3,028 billionaires were included in Forbes' annual World's Billionaires list this year, which is 247 more people than last year. The number of billionaires has crossed the 3,000 threshold for the first time. The total wealth of these individuals reached a new record of 16.1 trillion dollars; this is 2 trillion dollars more than a year ago and a figure higher than the annual GDP of all countries except the US and China. The average wealth increased by 200 million dollars compared to 2024, rising to 5.3 billion dollars.
