Fratricide in Sivas
An older brother who was stabbed in the chest by his brother in Sivas has died at the hospital where he was taken. The suspect was apprehended and taken into custody by police teams.

According to the information obtained,the incident occurred around 11:00 PMin theGülyurt neighborhood, on Istiklal Street, on the second floor of theBaşpınar Apartment building.
A dispute broke out for an as-yet-unknown reason between C.D. (31) and his older brother Gökhan Doğruyol (32), who lived in the same house.As the argumentescalated, C.D.stabbed his older brother Gökhan Doğruyol in the chest.
Following the report,medical and police teams were dispatched to the scene.Gökhan Doğruyol, who was taken to Sivas Numune Hospital by ambulance,could not be saveddespite allinterventionsby doctors.The suspect C.D.,who fled the house after the incident, was caught near the train station as a result of the police teams' efforts and taken into custody.The body of Gökhan Doğruyol was taken to the Sivas Cumhuriyet University morgue for an autopsy.
An investigation into the incident has been launched.
