A 5-goal masterclass from Galatasaray against Juventus: A historic victory

In the first leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 play-off, Galatasaray came from behind to defeat Juventus with a score of 5-2.

Gabriel Sara became the second player to both score and assist in a single Champions League match while wearing a Galatasaray jersey (W. Sneijder vs Juventus).

Noa Lang, who scored two goals in the match, netted his first goals for Galatasaray against Juventus. The Dutch footballer had also scored against Juve while playing in Italy.

Juventus's Cabal received a red card after a second yellow in the 67th minute. Meanwhile, Cambiasso, who received a yellow card, will be suspended for the second leg of the tie.

Kenan Yıldız started in the first 11 for the Italian side. Kenan, who has won the admiration of the global football community with his performance at Juventus, played against Galatasaray at RAMS Park. The national footballer played against a Turkish team for the first time in his career.

TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu followed the Galatasaray-Juventus match in person. TFF President Hacıosmanoğlu, who arrived at RAMS Park before the match, was accompanied by TFF 1st Vice President Mecnun Otyakmaz and TFF 2nd Vice President Fuat Göktaş.

The Italian head coach of the Turkish National Football Team, Vincenzo Montella, also watched the match from the stands.
