'Girl' dispute ends in bloodshed
In Eskişehir, a young man was seriously injured after being stabbed 4 times in a fight that allegedly broke out over a girl.

The incident occurred at an address onTunç Street in theHoşnudiye neighborhood of the Tepebaşıdistrict. According to the information obtained, a dispute that began via text messages between Mehmet S.Ü. (27) and M.A.K. (25)allegedlyovera girlfriend turned into a physical altercation at the aforementioned address.Thedisputeescalated.
M.A.K. used a knife hebrought with him tostab Mehmet S.Ü. on the right side of his neck,the back of his neck, his groin, and below hischest.He was wounded in these four areas.
Thesuspect fled the scene, while Mehmet S.Ü. collapsed to the groundcovered in blood.
Upon notification, police and medicalteams arrived at the scene. The young man,who had lost a significant amount of blood and was in critical condition,was transported toEskişehir Yunus Emre State Hospitalfollowing initialintervention.The fleeingsuspect wasapprehendedshortlyafterwards and taken intocustody. A comprehensive investigationhas been launched into the incident.
