Gunshots fired in rapid succession near school

In the district's Fabrika neighborhood, in an area where a middle school and a kindergarten are located, an unidentified individual opened fire with a weapon.

Upon notification, police teams were dispatched to the scene. The individual was taken into custody by police teams. Students and parents experienced moments of terror.

Eyewitness Yunus Gençer, stating that he was going to pick up his child from school, said, "He came from here and fired at the shops.

I came face to face with him; there were 15-20 meters between us. He had a pump-action shotgun in his hand, women ran away. The police came and caught him."
