Cinema and theater actor, writer, and director Zülfü Hamit Altın stated that he joined the party's founding process at the suggestion of a friend from the founding committee.

Explaining that he was a delegate congress member for the SHP in the Eyüpsultan district during the party's initial founding period, Zülfü Hamit Altın described his decision to set out to re-establish the SHP today by saying, "I could not stomach the betrayal committed against Kılıçdaroğlu."

SHP founder Zülfü Hamit Altın had said regarding former CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, "When such an offer came to me, I told them, 'Reach out to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and definitely bring him to the head of the party, friends.' Osman Cavcı, an actor from the Yeşilçam legend "Hababam Sınıfı" (The Chaos Class), was among the founders of the SHP.
