IYI Party's Hasan Toktaş had stated, "I claim that the message produced by dark hands is a fabrication and the expressions do not belong to me."

Regarding the allegation, IYI Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu had stated, "The statement made by Mr. Hasan Toktaş is valid in my view. However, as a requirement of both the subject and our sensitivity on these issues, I have tasked our Secretary General Mr. Uğur Poyraz and our Head of Legal, Election and Parliamentary Relations Mr. Hakan Şeref Olgun to follow, examine, and investigate the legal process."
