Harsh statement from CHP's Asu Kaya regarding the message allegations! 'I would like him to resign...'
CHP Women's Branches Chair and Osmaniye MP Asu Kaya spoke about the sexist message allegedly written about her by İYİ Party Organization Chair Hasan Toktaş. Kaya stated, "I would like him to resign on behalf of all women in Turkey, but we have to wait for the result of the investigation."

It was alleged that IYI Party Bursa Deputy Hasan Toktaş shared a photo of CHP Osmaniye Deputy and CHP Women's Branches Chair Asu Kaya in an internal party WhatsApp group and used the phrase "I'll get this for you, king."
IYI Party's Hasan Toktaş had stated, "I claim that the message produced by dark hands is a fabrication and the expressions do not belong to me."
Regarding the allegation, IYI Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu had stated, "The statement made by Mr. Hasan Toktaş is valid in my view. However, as a requirement of both the subject and our sensitivity on these issues, I have tasked our Secretary General Mr. Uğur Poyraz and our Head of Legal, Election and Parliamentary Relations Mr. Hakan Şeref Olgun to follow, examine, and investigate the legal process."

Following the developments, CHP Women's Branches Chair and Osmaniye Deputy Asu Kaya also made a statement on the matter.
Speaking on the program "Kübra Par'la Farklı Açılar" broadcast on TV 100, Asu Kaya said the following:
"I would not have wanted to occupy the agenda with this issue, because our struggle is very different. We are exercising women's rights in Turkey. We are waging a struggle for women in Turkey. We will not allow the agenda to be occupied by this. We women will continue to exist in every field, especially in politics."
Emphasizing that the result of the investigation should be awaited, Kaya said, "Of course, I would want him to resign in the strongest possible terms on behalf of all women in Turkey, but we have to wait for the result of this investigation."
