The incident occurred on Atatürk Boulevard, one of the busiest spots in Sakarya.
I.A. (33), who climbed onto the roof of a 4-story building, caused panic. Upon notification, police, fire, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
While police and medical teams climbed onto the roof to try to persuade I.A., fire crews took precautions against a potential jump.
After hours of persuasion efforts, the individual was brought down from the roof.

It was learned that I.A. had previously climbed onto roofs in many cities in a similar manner to attempt suicide, and that this number has exceeded 100.
