High school student dies after jumping from the 3rd floor of school
A judicial and administrative investigation has been launched following the suicide of a high school student in the Ayvacık district of Çanakkale.

In the Ayvacık district, it is alleged that E.N.E., a 10th-grade student at Ayvacık Anatolian High School, jumped from a window in a classroom on the 3rd floor of the school for reasons yet unknown.
Teachers who witnessed the incident notified medical teams. The young girl, who was taken to Ayvacık State Hospital by the medical teams arriving at the scene, could not be saved despite all interventions.
Judicial and administrative investigation launched
The Çanakkale Governor's Office issued a statement regarding the incident in Ayvacık, stating, "On 06.03.2026, at approximately 08:25, 10th-grade student E.N.E., who attempted suicide by jumping from a window on the 3rd floor of Ayvacık Anatolian High School, unfortunately lost her life at Ayvacık State Hospital, where she had been taken, despite all interventions.
Following the incident, a judicial and administrative investigation has been initiated, and the process is being followed meticulously.
