HOW TO APPLY?
Teachers and expert teachers working in official educational institutions affiliated with the Ministry of National Education and in private educational institutions can apply for the training program via https://mebbis.meb.gov.tr the address.
WHEN ARE THE APPLICATION DATES?
Application procedures for expert teacher and head teacher status began on December 25, 2024, and will continue until January 1, 2025.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE EXPERT TEACHER TITLE
i. Having at least ten years of service in the teaching profession,
ii. Currently serving as a teacher,
iii. Not having a penalty of withholding of step advancement,
iv. Having completed the Expert Teacher Training Program organized for the expert teacher title,
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE HEAD TEACHER TITLE
i. Having at least ten years of service as an expert teacher,
ii. Currently serving as an expert teacher,
iii. Not having a penalty of withholding of step advancement,
iv. Having completed the Head Teacher Training Program organized for the head teacher title will be required.
Furthermore, teachers and expert teachers who are in service as of October 18, 2024, will be eligible to receive the head teacher title, provided that they have completed twenty years of service in teaching and/or expert teaching as of April 30, 2025, have not received a penalty of withholding of salary advancement, and have completed the Head Teacher Training Program.
