2024-2025 AUZEF SPRING SEMESTER REGISTRATION RENEWAL DATES

The registration renewal guide for the Istanbul University Open and Distance Education Faculty (AUZEF) 2024-2025 Academic Year Spring Semester has been published. According to the guide, AUZEF Spring Semester Registration Renewal Procedures will be carried out between February 17, 2025, and March 2, 2025.

REGISTRATION RENEWAL AND COURSE SELECTION CALENDAR

The 2024-2025 AUZEF calendar is as follows:

Registration Renewal Procedures: 17.02.2025 - 02.03.2025

Course Add-Drop Dates: 03.03.2025 - 07.03.2025

Dates for Taking Courses from Higher Semesters: 03.03.2025 - 07.03.2025

HOW IS COURSE SELECTION (ADD-DROP) DONE?

After payment is made between February 17 and March 2, course selection procedures will be carried out by the faculty in a short time between February 24, 2025, and March 2, 2025.

During the registration renewal period, after payment is made, course selections for students who enrolled in 2016 and earlier will be made by the faculty within 3 business days; course selections for students who enrolled in 2017 and later will be made by the faculty within the day.

The status appearing as 'Registration Not Renewed' will be updated to 'Continuing Student' after the courses are selected. Students who reach the continuing student status should check their selected courses from the AKSIS-Learning Information-Course Enrollment List tab.

Course add-drop procedures will be carried out by students between March 3, 2025, and March 7, 2025. Add-drop procedures cannot be performed outside the specified dates.

DD and DC courses are not selected among the courses chosen by the faculty. Students who wish to take DD and DC courses can perform the selection procedures for these courses according to the steps indicated at the end of the guide.

Students taking DD and DC courses are responsible for these courses during the semester. The final letter grade received from these courses at the end of the semester will be valid. When selecting DD and DC courses, the possibility that the letter grade for these courses may drop should be taken into account.

Students eligible to take courses from higher semesters will select their upper-semester courses themselves between March 3, 2025, and March 7, 2025. The conditions for taking courses from higher semesters are included at the end of the guide.

REGISTRATION RENEWAL PROCEDURE STEPS

STEP 1

For the registration renewal process, it is sufficient to pay the semester fee with your reference number.

To obtain your reference number, log in to the automation system with your username and password at http://aksis.istanbul.edu.tr.

STEP 2

After logging into the AKSIS automation system, you can access your 'Reference Number' from the 'Fee Information' section.

You can make your payment at Halkbank Branches/ATMs using your reference number or make an online payment via the AKSIS system. To perform the online payment process, click the 'Make Payment' button located on the same page.

NOTE: You cannot make payments at Halkbank Branches/ATMs without your reference number. Ensure that your reference number is correct when making payments at Halkbank ATMs and branches.

STEP 3

You can make your payment online by filling in the relevant fields on the screen that appears.
